The Process
Consultation
Every Camper Camper project begins with a private consultation, where we take the time to understand your vision, lifestyle, budget, and the finer details that matter most to you. This is a considered, collaborative conversation focused on shaping a campervan that feels both beautifully designed and genuinely tailored to how you plan to use it.
The consultation lasts approximately one hour and can take place either in person, telephone or video call. However, we strongly recommend an in-person visit wherever possible.
Visiting our workshop allows you to experience the quality of our work first-hand, meet the team behind the builds, and view current projects in progress, often providing valuable inspiration and reassurance before moving forward.
Reserving Your Build Schedule
Once the design has been fully refined and agreed, a £1,200 deposit is required to secure your build slot within our schedule. This allows us to allocate time, resources, and craftsmanship to your project with care and precision.
At an agreed date, we will then take delivery of your vehicle. Approximately two weeks prior to the build commencing, a 60% stage payment is required. This enables us to begin sourcing and preparing the high-quality materials and components specified for your conversion, ensuring everything is in place for a smooth and efficient build process.
During the Build
Our campervan conversions typically take between 8–12 weeks, depending on the scope and complexity of the design. Throughout this period, we maintain clear, considered communication so you remain fully connected to your build at every stage.
You’ll have access to your van’s private profile within our Trello client portal. This dedicated space allows you to track the entire build journey in real time, view photos and videos as they’re added, allowing you to follow your conversion as it takes shape.
Our aim is to provide complete transparency and reassurance—so you can enjoy the process as much as the finished result.
Handover
At the completion of your build, the moment you’ve been waiting for arrives. Your campervan is ready to be handed over. We will guide you through a comprehensive handover, taking the time to walk you through every aspect of your new vehicle so you feel comfortable, informed, and confident from day one.
During this walkthrough, we’ll explain how each system operates, from electrics and plumbing to heating, storage, and onboard features, answering any questions you may have along the way.
Our goal is to ensure you leave not only with the keys to your new campervan, but with complete confidence and excitement, ready to begin your adventures straight away.
Aftercare & Warranty
From the moment you take delivery of your campervan, our aftercare support begins.
Your conversion is protected by a 24-month workmanship warranty, together with manufacturer warranties on all appliances and equipment installed, typically ranging from 2 to 5 years. This provides comprehensive reassurance and reflects the confidence we place in both our craftsmanship and the components we select.
More than anything, we see our builds as the beginning of an ongoing relationship. We remain in touch with our clients long after delivery, offering guidance, support, and advice whenever it’s needed. Whether you have a practical question, require assistance, or are planning your next adventure, our team is always available, providing thoughtful, responsive support throughout your ownership journey.
